Since compiling most of Larry’s Medical Records all into one place, our home, we have been able to detect many of the lies stated in Larry’s records. There are some records we have been unable to retain, such as Dr. Murbarak’s records on Larry. His record’s department won’t return our calls. Between Larry and myself we have called them at least ten times to be conservative in the last week.
I have requested the actual tests that were supposedly taken of Larry’s carotid artery at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. I’m told it’s the only test that could have an actual test rather than just print outs from Labs, which reek of the possibility for fraud when presented this way, in my opinion. So far all I have received are print outs of results, not the tests themselves. It is interesting that the radiologist at Dr. Law’s office took a scan of Larry’s carotid artery and said it was clear. Also interesting was when Larry was at the clinic at Saint Mary’s having his neck scanned to look at his carotid artery he asked the doctor if he saw the calcification in his neck left from an accident he had at 16 years old. The doctor quickly said, ”NO”. Makes us think the test was never actually taken, the doctor just went through the motions.
Dr. McDaneld was after Larry to prove Hypertension from the day Larry entered his office while this doctor never looked at Larry or his records, nor did he look at Larry’s ankle. Just started running tests to disprove many facts in Larry’s Blood Clot. Corvel Insurance wrote Larry a letter threatening him if he didn’t show up for this appointment with Dr. McDaneld they would cancel his monthly, reduced salary. We feel Dr. McDaneld was hired to disprove the blood clot that caused Larry’s stroke, with bogus tests and fake high Blood Pressure readings. Then all opinions related to Larry’s health were filtered through Dr. McDaneld’s , I believe, fake tests. One such case in point, and there are many others, but this one stands out. Larry was taken into an office at the Saint Mary’s Hospital right after he had the scan of his heart. He was there for another test. This test was one where they would put dye in his veins, but his surgeon had already removed the intravenous needle. I recall saying to the nurse that took Larry back to this exam/test office, “Are you now putting another needle in Larry? Why didn’t they just leave the needle that was in Larry for the heart scope in place?” She didn’t know, but said, “SORRY” as she rolled Larry back for his test. Only this test never took place. This was the same time the carotid artery fake test took place and the doctor said he didn’t notice Larry’s childhood trauma in his neck; meaning this doctor was faking the test in my mind.
So far, by going through all Larry’s Medical Records, we do currently have there are misquotes, lies, stories created about what happened to him, recorded from Larry, but written down so that no one would notice it was Larry’s story; in other words either mistakenly recorded wrong or purposely?
It’s hard to believe.
Two things that run through this story of Medical Malpractice, knowingly created, are Larry’s so called Hypertension, and him walking 4 miles a day after he got his Wound Vac taken off. The Hypertension stories are created by taking his Blood Pressure wrong, on purpose, and out and out lying about Larry walking 4 miles a day. And every time Larry is asked about the walking, whomever hears the truth instead, like flies to fly paper, goes back and writes in a report that Larry indeed walked 4 miles a day after he was taken off the Wound Vac. The same doctor who started this rumor about Larry walking 4 miles a day is a Corvel Insurance doctor; he’s about 90 years old, Dr. Hammerberg a Neurologist, and used a wrist BP monitor on Larry, while not knowing how to use it. He put it on Larry’s wrist face up and upside down. Did not bring the face of the monitor to Larry chest, just left his arm resting on the arm of a chair. Then he calls a BP reading where most would be dead if true. This man has no idea what he is doing, and I believe this is why Corvel Insurance chose him for a report.
Dr. Murbarak has the audacity to quote this man who can barely walk or see. There is a voice recording of this visit with Dr. Hammerberg. I assure you there’s no way he could have mistaken Larry’s answer to walking, 4 miles a day. I will try and retrieve this voice recording, but haven’t yet.
The discrepancies between Dr. Murbarak’s first evaluation of Larry, and the final one are astounding as he basically dismisses everything he said after his own scan results to believing medical tests results he was told were taken, but I doubt seriously he ever saw these tests, because they don’t exist. He also claims Larry was in PT all the while as he healed from surgery. This is not true; Larry had to quit PT while on the Wound Vac for three months or more. Larry did go to the PT Clinic during the Wound Vac, because Amber, the PT Therapist, was also the Wound Therapist. But no exercise for months while Larry was on the Wound Vac, and no Blood Thinner, which we have learned after the fact, should have been given to Larry not only after surgery, but while he was on the Wound Vac.
Then there’s all the PT appointments where Amber barely speaks of Larry’s ankle, only the pain in his shoulder, of which he had very little; barely noticeable. Larry would never give a pain report of “2”; a “2” would barely be noticeable. Larry gave reports like “8” to “10” on his ankle, which Amber ignored. Larry has a very high pain tolerance and a “2” would barely be noticeable like I said.
Then Dr. Mubarak states he had a meeting with us, Larry and myself, about all this; another lie! We saw Dr. Mubarak for less than ten minutes just before settlement of the Workman Comp case, where he eventually backed up all he originally said about Larry’s Blood Clot and stroke in writing after we left.
This man is very dishonorable and despicable!
In fact all Dr. Mubarak discussed, while we were in his office ,were two things during this ten minute joke of a meeting. A) Did you walk 4 miles a day after the Wound Vac was removed? Larry said,”N0! That’s wrong and I never said that. I said I tried walking as Dr. Kahn Farooqi advised and realized I couldn’t stand the pain, so never did it again.” B) What was the date of your surgery, because the records, I believe, have the date wrong. And that’s it! Larry and I left.
I’m amazed by these doctors never relying on a patient’s response to their questions; the doctors ask, get an answer, then proceed to ignore the answer.
I was going to mark up Dr. Mubarak’s last report on Larry showing all the out and out misquotes and lies, but better to just write LIES at the top of the page that sealed Larry’s permanent disability with a $17,000.00 settlement to care for him the rest of his life. Not to mention this Corvel Insurance stopped all care and PT for Larry a year ago, based on all these lies.
The truth is there is little truth in Larry’s medical records, while the E. Dene Moore Care Center drugged Larry up with so many heart drugs that it’s a wonder he didn’t die there, especially when one considers Larry does not have heart problems.
Larry should have been sent, by helicopter, to Grand Junction for the stroke drug, tPA, but instead the doctors did nothing including listening to me about Larry’s ankle. Neither Larry nor myself new about this tPA until just recently.
To add insult to injury here, Larry’s Workman Comp attorneys, Boesen Law, and the accompanying Medical Malpractice firm, Mahoney Law, are committing Legal Malpractice, in my opinion, and did so against Larry.
I’m told Dr. Hammingberg’s meeting with Larry and myself was recorded; they won’t give this to us, but say an attorney can retrieve it by calling; 303-825-3759
